Subject: Updated Brackets - Rain Plan

Here are the updated brackets for both AAA and Majors.  We have games tonight at both Starcher and Cindy Mysels, it looks like we’ll escape the rain tonight.  There is rain coming later this week and we will most likely have to re-schedule games.  Here are a few details I want to get to everyone regarding the re-scheduling plan:

 

• Our goal is to have the tournament wrapped up by Sunday night November 19th at the absolute latest no matter what the weather is.  Lots of folks will be traveling starting Monday the 20th due to school being out and we don’t want to spill into Monday.  
• We are currently slated to play the championship games on Saturday the 18th and will do everything we can to keep them there.  There are currently no games scheduled for Friday the 17th, we will most likely have to push games to Friday to fit them in if we get rain on Wednesday or Thursday.  
• I do understand rain causes havoc with pitchers/pitch counts.  We can’t control the weather and our first priority is to fit the games in whatever open date we can find so we can complete the tournament before the holiday week.  This WILL affect some of your pitching and while unfortunate it is unavoidable.  The best thing we can do is pray for no rain!

 

We have some great games coming up and I wish everyone the best of luck.  Pitch count sheets will come out later today.
