Hello Greater Naples Little League families,

To all players  registered for the Spring 2024 Little League season (the following also applies to WAITLISTED players):

Evaluations for all players League Ages 7-12 will be held on Wednesday, January 3rd, at 6pm, Thursday, January 4th at 6pm, and Friday, January 5th, at 6pm. Please consult the Little League International League Age Chart below to determine your child's LEAGUE AGE, so you'll know which evaluation to attend, based on your child's correct League Age.

All players ages 7-12 are required to attend evaluations. League Age 6 players need to have played Single A for a minimum of 2 seasons in order to be considered for AA and attend evaluations. Those 6 year olds who qualify and wish to be moved up will be required to attend evaluations with the 7-8 age group.

Dates and times of evaluations:

League Age 11-12- Evaluations will be held on Wednesday, 1/3/2023 at 6pm.
League Age 9-10- Evaluations will be held on Thursday, 1/4/2023 at 6pm.
League Age 7-8- Evaluations will be held on Friday, 1/5/2023 at 6pm. 

Evaluations will be held at Fleischmann Park ball fields; 1600 Fleischmann Blvd. Please arrive between 5:15-5:30pm on your appointed day to register your child for evaluations. Evaluations will be used to determine division placement. All players should be dressed for baseball: baseball pants, cup, glove, helmet, bat, and cleats are necessary. Helmets are required to have face protection. Face cages are recommended for all "new to baseball" players, and our League Age 7-10 year olds returning to Single A through AAA players attending evaluation. C-Flaps may be used by players who are older, and/or in Majors Division. If parents have any questions about equipment, the sales associates at Dick's Sporting goods are very knowledgeable and helpful in guidance. After the draft is completed, your manager will reach out to inform you of your child's team and practice schedule. Please allow about one week after evaluations for the coaches to reach out.
